8 HOUR PRE-SERVICE TRAINING
8 Hour Pre-Service Training as required by Child Care Licensing.
This is a free service for Smith County entities, made available by a grant from United Way of Tyler/Smith County. Out-of-county cost is $40.
PLEASE NOTE: Training is for NEW HIRES ONLY, not for current staff.
Pre-Service is available most Fridays (see Calendar for dates).
SIDS/SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME training is available by request at the pre-service training on Friday.
Cost is $10.00.

PROFESSIONAL ADMINISTRATORS CREDENTIAL COURSE (PAC)
Meets Texas minimum requirements for employment as director of a licensed childcare facility.
PLEASE NOTE! To qualify for enrollment in this course,
you MUST meet ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have high school diploma or GED
- Have 2 years' experience working in a licensed child-care center
